For more than three decades, Ms. Dotty Griffith has worked for the DMN. Today she took the bait: September 15 will be her last day. I still think it a raw deal she gets a buyout based on only two thirds of her career (maximum payoff stops at 20 years). Who will replace her? “Heck if I know,” she says. “Everybody around here is gone.”
