PROPS TO SCHUTZE, TAMBIEN

|

Our fave columnist that doesn’t work here, Jim Schutze, gives it a name in his lament/tantrum regarding the line forming for the mayoral succession. While I don’t share his feeling of loss for the departing Princess of Preston Hollow (whose departure we nailed as inevitable in our June issue; fee required), his take on the jockeying for position is close to the bone.

But the best part is the imagery of the outrageous propaganda passing for journalism in the presentation of the political debutantes over at the Belo Plantation. Mint juleps all around.
