LUKE V. OWEN

|

As has been noted elsewhere, the Brothers Wilson are ubiquitous. Owen’s got You, Me, and Dupree opening today, and Luke’s go My Super Ex-Girlfriend next week. Both have been on the promo circuit of late, and last night Owen was on The Daily Show and Luke was on Letterman.

Now, I’m biased in my Wilson allegiance because I know Luke better. I don’t, like, call him to see how his day was, but if we saw each other, we could chat and catch up. Owen? Not so much. Last time I saw him was during a pick-up game of football about eight years ago. He was quarterback. I was “this rock here” who was told to “just hang out over there and get open.”

Bias aside, Luke was by far the better late-night guest. He dressed well (coat and tie, albeit with a too skinny knot), was engaging, and did a nice call back to Letterman dropping off a woman at the Playboy Mansion. Owen [swivel, swivel] with Stewart [swivel, swivel] was almost painful [swivel, swivel]. He could not [swivel, swivel] sit still [swivel, swivel], and yet [swivel, swivel] seemed bored.

Go get him, Luke.
