HAVE FOOTBALL, WILL ENROLL

|

Interesting piece here. It’s about the small colleges hurting for male students who turn to football to boost enrollment. One school, Mary Hardin-Baylor in central Texas, saw a 148 percent increase in applicants, the school finally able to woo the coveted young men from D-FW, after football was added.

I would say something pithy here about Only in Texas, but it turns out adding football to boost enrollment is a nationwide trend.
