DOWNTOWN’S TOLL PLAZA

|

A commuting FrontBurnervian wonders what’s up with the downtown toll plaza and the surrounding construction. I’ll tell you what’s up. Never mind. I’ll let this newsletter item do the telling for me. And, according to the spokesperson at NTTA whom I just spoke with, there will be a press release to do even more telling. Basically, the tollway from Lemmon Ave. to I-35 is getting new pavement, wider lanes, better bridges, and the like. The 40-year-old toll plaza is getting a redo also. NTTA says it’s a 2-year project. So get used to it.
