BUT PLANO’S WAL-MART IS COOL

|

This isn’t new news, but I never get tired of pointing out how much the Parkland system, and thus Dallas County taxpayers, fork over to pay for emergency services for our surrounding counties, especially upscale Collin, deadbeat to us for over $4.5 million and counting. We might thank God for Parkland, but we don’t thank our affluent neighbors. I say, sic the bill collectors on ’em. Big ol’ bad dog ones.

This the tally from today’s DMN, in turn provided by Parkland, for unreimbursed care last year:

Collin — $4,517,600
Denton — $2,743,342
Ellis — $1,886,567
Hunt — $907,550
Kaufman — $926,031
Rockwall — $571,128
Tarrant — $2,242,434
Other — $4,527,789
