BURN BAN? WHAT BURN BAN?

|

According to this FBer, the fires of patriotism burned forth in her Dallas neighborhood despite public officials’ edicts not to shoot off fireworks yesterday:

There was enough firepower that it sounded like a war zone for 4 hours. So much that our entire neighbhorhood was hazy from the smoke. And we aren’t talking firecrackers in a trash can — this was some serious stuff. Thankfully we had rain, or there would have been some house and grass fires. And calling the police is a useless exercise. Golly, I have been calling every year for 26 years and they have yet to arrive. Must be a killer on their response time statistics.
