Dallas Roma F.C., an amateur soccer team, is competing in the Lamar Hunt United States Open Cup, a tournament that pits amateurs against professionals. And they’re laying down the hammer. Last week, Roma beat Chivas U.S.A. of Major League Soccer. Next week, the team plays the L.A. Galaxy, also in the MLS. I mean, this is somewhat akin to D’s softball league kicking the crap out of the Rangers.
