The City Council voted to tack some stuff on to the proposed bond program. Here’s what I want to know:
1. What is wrong with Leo Chaney? When Laura Miller sensibly suggested that the council members should provide a rationale for the projects they added, Chaney said it would be too much trouble and might cause contention. They could put it up on the city’s Web site. “Don’t push it,” he said. “Let’s have a good day.” Are you kidding me? Was he trying a Jedi mind trick?
2. What is wrong with Mitchell Rasansky? He’s the only council member who didn’t tack on his own pet project to the bond program. Dude, when the money’s flowing, you gotta get your bucket out! (And, yes, I just duded a city councilman.)
