As the guy who had to shoot the op-ed and column photos for the DMN in the late 80’s, your comments make me laugh hard. I recall it was like pulling teeth to get some folks to upgrade there photo. Some folks (no Names) liked my take and then it was like a new pic a month. The real trouble came when the little pix went to color, with, I recall, a blue background. I swear one person wanted to know if we could just colorize their current photo.
