Our girl Jenny gets around–faster than I can post her blogs, obviously. Check out her report of the Summer Tea kickoff for the ELLE Decor’s Dining by Design Dallas event happening two weeks from Saturday:
I went to the Goss Gallery Thursday night for a Summer Tea to kick off ELLE Décor’s Dining By Design Dallas event coming up on June 24 at the Dallas Market Center. There was a vodka tasting and yummy vodka lemonades as well as caviar and ceviche served on silver trays, of course. All of the usual suspects were in attendance, and the fashion on parade was enviable. Bodes well for the actual event. Rumor has it the tables are nearly sold out and individual seats are a tough ticket. But you can call 214-748-8580 or check out the DIFFA web site if you want to try your luck.
The backdrop was a gorgeous new photography exhibit from photographer Kobi Israel, which officially opened Friday night. Warning: this is exhibit is hot. I mean edgy and cool and sexy. The work comes from three separate groupings–one of landscapes, one of portraits of gorgeous and scantily clad men, and one exploring the images of the homo-eroticism Israel experienced while serving in the Israeli army. The exhibit closes July 1.
