An FBvian with a culinary (or some kind of) bent offers enlightenment on the Hay K Rico environs:

I love Hay K Rico, but you did an injustice to what actually is one of the most appetizing retail strips in town. Its neighbors are the wonderful pan-Asian Oishii (check out the Tuesday night dollar sushi or lunch or dinner any time) and Sal’s, a pizza, calzone and pasta joint that’s as close as Texas comes to Brooklyn.

PS Another must stop on the block (for sightseeing or if you’re looking for nipple rings) is the molto bizarro Leather by Boots.
