PONY PROVOST PACKS UP, PICKS PIANO

SMU’s Provost and VP for academic affairs is leaving less than a year after he got here. Robert Blocker is going back to his old job at Yale University, where he’ll be able to fulfill the expectations he has of himself “as a pianist with international and recording engagements.” He says music is the essence of his soul. At least it’s not “spend more time with my family.”
