HINOJOSA NOW HAS A CHANCE

|

Lois Parrott’s landslide defeat Saturday (57%) was a vote of confidence in Superintendent Michael Hinojosa’s vision for turning around DISD. Parrott is the sort of self-involved, unpredictable, and quick-on-the-trigger personality that often gets involved in politics for no discernible reason other than her own ego. Leigh Ann Ellis has been a supporter of Hinojosa’s reform program from the beginning. Her victory foretells good things. There’s a long way to go.
