Today’s paper reports that in response to American’s free tickets, Southwest will give away two free drinks on all Love-departing flights. So here’s today’s math quiz:
Many Southwest flights are 40 minutes or less. The body metabolizes one ounce of alcohol per hour. What will your blood alcohol level be when you slam 2 drinks in the 8 minutes they give you before taking away the cups before descent? How many TABC agents will be on each plane to pre-empt drunk driving in a Hertz rental car?
I know the answers but I’m not telling.
