RE: A-MAYOR-ZING RACE

|

Sorry, Adam, a little late on picking up the cue. Let’s replay the scene from the dropped line:

Adam: Gee, wouldn’t it be great if some cool city magazine in Dallas were going to give us a preview on Gary, Zac, Her Honor and the other contenders for the mayoral free-for-all next year?

Rod: Why, yes, hot new executive editor of newly-launched Dallas CEO magazine, that would be great.

Adam: Who do you think might do that?

Rod: You know, I have a lot of spare time. Why don’t I get on it right now?

Adam: Great idea, Rod!

Rod: You know, I think we’ll just go ahead and put that preview of the ’07 mayor race in our upcoming June issue, with a snarky illustration and everything!

Adam: You rock, retread dude!

Rod: Don’t I know it!

[loud clattering or screaming noise off-stage]

Tim: Isn’t going to write itself, FNG. Back to work.

Jennifer: That goes double for you, Mr. Rogers.
