David Burrows is a good, clean, sweet FrontBurnervian. He’s also a producer of documentary films. Along with a fellow named Mike Daniel, he did the Appalachian Trail documentary Walking With Freedom. Now he wants to try a similar hiking story–but this time from Mexico to Canada. David tells us:
PBS has taken an interest in our project and has asked us to take a cue from the success of Super Size Me. They want Mike to undergo a full medical check-up before and after his adventure. We want to examine how the 6-month trip will affect his body, mind and spirit.
We had a doctor scheduled to be part of this segment, but he is unable to participate now. To make this documentary work, we need a physician who can donate a complete medical examine for Mike the 1st week of May and then a follow-up afterward sometime in October.
Any interested physicians should drop me a note. Presumably, good-looks won’t hurt.
