APOLOGY TO SCOTT SAMS

By Tim Rogers |

Earlier in this space, I made reference to a vulgar remark attributed to Scott Sams. His attorney, Hal K. Gillespie, has written us a letter denying that his client ever made the remark. Further, Gillespie tells us that asserting that Sams made the remark, when in fact he didn’t, “is liable per se.”

It was never my intention to libel Scott Sams. I apologize to him for any trouble that my post may have caused him, professionally or otherwise. And I do hereby retract the assertion that Sams ever made the remark.
