Of course it would be inappropriate and insensitive to make fun of someone with psychological problems, but this story deserves mention on this slow Monday morning. A 38-year-old man with schizophrenia had a brief stand-off with police. He was armed with a butter knife. (The more cynical among you wonder aloud what that says about our police force.)

Still, I can’t wait to watch that episode of Dallas SWAT.
