I forgot to tell you all about my drive back from the TREC breakfast meeting. I thought Central Expwy. would be free and clear at 9:30 this morning. I thought wrong. All four southbound lanes were backed up starting around Walnut Hill Lane almost to Haskell. The reason? I’m still not sure. Police had placed orange traffic cones blocking the two middle lanes, protecting a seemingly stalled black Honda Civic. Parked in front of the Civic was an ambulance with its lights on. Authorities were leaning in to the car to check on its driver, a woman who seemed to be okay as I passed. There was no other car, and no evidence of an accident. I wonder if she had a heart attack or something. Anyone heard anything?
