SCHOOL FINANCE DECISION: GOOD FOR THE GUV?

|

Over on DallasBlog.com, Tom Pauken and Carolyn Barta each weigh in, and unlike the News, neither thinks this decision is good for the GOP. How could it be? Anything that reminds people that the issue hasn’t been resolved only serves to remind voters that the Republican leadership has bungled the matter. I’m not saying it’s good for Democrats–with Chris Bell as their candidate, they’re practically non-existent–but despite the spin coming out of the Governor’s Mansion, there is no way to paint over the failure of Rick Perry and the legislative leadership to fund schools–the #1 issue on the minds of suburban moms.
