A paper-reading FBvian notes the more painful parts of the Journal story about our fair city:
This one hurt: “Today, the streets of Dallas’s 1.3-square-mile downtown are largely deserted apart from homeless people toting backpacks ..” Was the “1.3-square-mile” jab really necessary? Isn’t it considered poor manners anymore for the blessed haves to make fun of the miserable have-nots?
But this one was worse: “Dallas Power & Light’s 158 apartments are 81% occupied and have become a home for some city celebrities, including three Dallas Mavericks cheerleaders.” OUCH!
