Actually Nancy, it’s Jim Francis’ son, Jimmy, who bought Goff’s Hamburgers from the irascible Harvey Gough, then moved the location to Hillcrest Ave. across from SMU. And by the way, when Harvey, one of the world’s worst a–holes, was running Goff’s, it had average sales of about 150 burgers a day. Under the friendly, welcoming Francis, Goff’s now averages about 400 burgers sold per day. Who says nice guys can’t win?
