Estelle “Call Me Stella” Rogers was born this morning at 12:30, and she’s already proven herself to be a drama queen. On her way into the world, she got all tangled up in her umbilical cord, which meant she wasn’t getting oxygen. Some quick work by Dr. Vines and the fine folks at Medical City got Stella stabilized and breathing on her own in just a few minutes, though. She’s now happy and healthy. Or at least healthy, because for the first couple hours at least, she seemed pissed. Final stats: 7 pounds, 3 ounces. And it should be noted that My Fair Lady was champ, too. All is well.
