I caught snippets of Laura Miller’s presentation to the City Council last night on the Hunt deal, pointer and all. That is the thing about crazy people. They can be superbly rational. A crazy person can explain to you with perfect reasonableness why he is Napoleon. That does not make him Napoleon. Nor does a pointer and a flip chart make a mayor.
I’ve always said–mostly in admiration– that this is a woman who follows her own compass. Unfortunately, her needle seems pointed south. There is no way we should let our city to follow her.
