First, let’s be clear: D did not put on a poker tournament. I say this because the winner took home $1,000, and playing cards for real money in a bar is only probably legal. But I also say it because it’s not true. Court Westcott put on a poker tournament. He’s the guy who runs Digital Witness. He’s also the son of Jimmy and Carl Westcott, who need no introduction. Court simply allowed D (and a few select friends) to tag along. A good time was had by all. Here’s what I remember:
Jimmy is a really funny woman. Our own Lizzie Tarbox made it to the final table. Mattie Roberts smelled nice. George P. Bush got busted out pretty early. Phil Hellmuth talked a whole bunch (click here to read Hellmuth on playing cards with the Westcotts). I did not win an iPod.
