Don’t forget the Cunniff Factor. I don’t know where the suit stands, but the EC is facing a undoubtedly large liability in the civil suit following Chaddock’s Tea Room tantrum. I’m sure the bankruptcy is in part motivated by a defense against the suit.
As I told said FrontBurnervian, I hadn’t forgotten. I’m guessing one might be related to the other, but I don’t know to what degree. I also don’t know if Chapter 11 grants the EC financial immunity to any civil claims Cunniff might win. Any bankruptcy lawyers out there want to lend their wisdom?
