There’s a tantalizing mix at the newest Dallas blog–whose address is, simply enough, dallasblog.com–of DMN refugees such as Carolyn Barta and Bill Murchison and conservative politicos such as Tom Pauken and Scott Bennet. And while the mission statement says it is intended to be “an online alternative news and information source” the first postings seem to be more editorial in nature. However, there’s nothing wrong with that. Informed opinions on local issues, such as Bennett’s post on the Hunt land swap, are just what this city needs. We do hope they publish some insidery news tips every now and then– so we can steal them.
Welcome to the blogosphere, mates. We’re glad to have the company.
