He’s been allowing a documentary to be shot of his investigation of Tom DeLay (called The Big Buy). If I were a juror what I might buy is the defense’s argument that Earle indicted DeLay on a weak premise just because–after a year of filming–his movie had to have an ending. I mean, what if he hadn’t indicted DeLay? What would have happened to all that footage?
