COURTHOUSE POOP

|

A pastry-eating FBvian wishes to draw our attention to the following case that this week began to wend its way through the local justice system:

Defendant name: Behrouz Nahidmobarekeh
Charge: TAMPERING WITH CONSUMER PRODUCTS
Offense date: July 3, 2004; July 24, 2005
Court: 283rd Judicial District Court
Presiding Judge: Cunningham

CASE SKETCH: The defendant allegedly spread his own dried feces over fresh baked cookies, bread, and other pastries at the Fiesta grocery store on Ross Ave. He was caught on tape. The charge is a second degree felony.

I love going into that Fiesta. It’s a quick way for a gringo to remind himself in which direction the city’s demographics are headed. They also sell good Mexican pastries. I like the ones that aren’t covered with dried feces.
