On Saturday, op-ed columnist Macarena Hernandez took a pot shot at Fox’s Bill O’Reilly. I say pot shot because most of her column railed against people who attack–and even kill–Mexican immigrants. (Still, as pot shot’s go, O’Reilly’s was well-deserved. Dude’s a blowhard.)
In any case, O’Reilly has blasted back, telling people to cancel their subscriptions to the News, and, worse, dedicating two segments of his show to Hernandez-bashing. (Told ya’: blowhard.)
Now, the DMN’s Rob Dreher has taken up Hernandez’s cause–sort of.
Dreher’s more interested in Hernandez getting publicity than actually defending the co-worker. Which, I think, is weak.
