Please know that I was just trying to add a little levity when I said Exxon “trumped” T.I. with its donation. A T.I.-employed FBvian took me to task, though. She points out that Exxon’s $7 million is .0000236 percent of its revenue. T.I.’s $1.75 million is .000139 percent. Another FBvian notes that Exxon has $30 billion in cash on hand, and its profits (as opposed to revenue) were double T.I.’s.
