RE: DOUBLE YOUR DONATION

|

So far the Mayor’s Disaster Relief Fund has raised $690,000:

$100,000 — Baron & Budd law firm in Dallas
$100,000 — The Potter’s House & T.D. Jakes
$100,000 — Ray Hunt — Hunt Consolidated
$100,000 — Highland Park United Methodist Church
$100,000 — Murchison Capital Partners — on behalf of their employees
$100,000 — Mary Kay Cosmetics
$25,000 — The Jewish Federation of Greater Dallas
$25,000 — from two local lawyers
$25,000 — Forrest City Developers
$15,000 — total so far in private, individual donations from over the weekend

I’m going to giggle when someone drops off a $100,000 check at D Magazine today. I know we’re having a good year, but we’re no Baron & Budd. IJS.
