RE: DMN TELEMARKETERS

I’ve received notes from several FBvians who report getting similar calls at work. I’ll share this one:

I’m a freelancin’ FrontBurnervian, so on those occasions when I work in someone’s office, I almost never get calls on the company phone. The exception is DMN subscription calls. I think just in the last 10 months, I’ve gotten three calls trying to sell me the paper. That’s three calls to three different numbers at different businesses. If so many residential numbers have been dropped from call lists, maybe it’s time to re-think your marketing efforts. I can’t imagine that calling business numbers actually pays out for the circulation dept. Call centers–at least those that haven’t been re-located to Bombay–aren’t cheap.
