Sorry. I’m responding to this now because I was out of the office Friday.
A DMN rep called me at my former job a month ago saying “We appreciate you taking our Sunday paper, Mr. Kix. And we’d like to make the deal sweeter.” They offered to give me the paper the rest of the week for free for three months. I said sure, why not, sometimes I work from home and a free daily broadsheet ain’t a bad thing to have on such occassions. Sign me up.
So they do, right? Only they don’t. A month later, I’m still waiting for my three-month trial to begin. I’d call the sales rep except I don’t really care about getting it for free at home; I get it for free at work. And besides, the rep wouldn’t give me his number; said it’d be better to go through the News‘ circ. department. Because he worked in Phoenix.
