A presumably hungry FrontBurnervian passes along this link with news that Brandt Wood is offering free rent to displaced New Orleans restaurants if they relocate in Deep Ellum. Now, not to be a sourpuss, but I’ve heard the struggling places in Deep Ellum aren’t paying much rent these days in the first place. But still, it’s a nice gesture and I hope it works out for all involved.
