When it comes to college football there are only a handful of teams I root for consistently. Yes, I’m embarrassed to say SMU is still one of them; that’s what being an alum will get you. But I’ve also been a lifelong ‘SC fan, so that balances out. And marrying a TCU alum has helped in the win-loss column, too. The Frogs’ upset over the Sooners has them ranked 22nd and the recipients of the “Tostitos’ Fiesta Bowl National Team of the Week” honors. Take it easy on my Mustangs this weekend, okay?
