DOWN WITH COMCAST

By |

OK, maybe it’s uncouth to voice professionally the ires of my personal life, but Comcast sucks. Last spring, they were to upgrade my cable; turns out the “basic” I had was less than basic: I got half the channels I was supposed to but was charged full price. I waited all day for the cable guy to stop by; he never did.

But I moved on–I don’t watch that much television. But my girlfriend does. She’s moved in and we’ve asked for an upgrade to digital cable. Yesterday, the Comcast guy–again–failed to stop by, despite assurances from his company that he’d be there no later than noon.

This morning, we were told by Comcast HQ to wait again, but we were not given the number of a supervisor to call to complain, were not given the number of the cable installer nor told what time, definitively, we could expect him.

Crappy.
