DON’T SCREW WITH PUPPIES

|

Tom Fox, a News photograper, shot this photo of a oil-slicked little puppy in New Orleans, which ran not only in the News but in newspapers across the world. But inquiring minds wanted to know: what happened to the dog? The News was forced to run this. But that turned out not to be so accurate, so then the poor photographer had to find the dog again and the News ran this. But the dog that got rescued wasn’t the dog in the picture, so then the News had to run this.

The moral of this story is, if you’re gonna run a cute shaggy dog photo on the front page, you’d damned sure better make sure your photographer rescues the &#*(@)-ing dog.
