Additional information: Chris Valletta, 27, spent two months at
Trump Tower competing to become Donald Trump’s next apprentice.
The final call came after several interviews in Dallas, a trip to
Los Angeles and a one-on-one meeting with the business mogul.

Valletta played for the New Orleans Saints, the Tennessee Titans
and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers from 2001-2003. At Texas A&M
University, he was an All-Conference offensive lineman. As a team
leader and spokesperson, he went on to become the voice of the
Aggie Radio Network, reporting sideline from every game.

He currently works in advertising sales as an executive at KRLD
News Radio 1080-AM in Dallas, Texas, where he was recently named
“salesperson of the year.” Valletta also started a transactional
real estate company called Big Tree Investments LLC.

The entrepreneur is a native of the New England area but moved to
Plano, Texas in the 1990’s. As an offensive lineman, Valletta
helped the Plano Senior Wildcats win a 5A State Championship in
1994.

As a proven leader, a motivated self-starter and one of few
athletes willing to admit he gets regular manicures, Trump chose
Chris Valletta to vie for a position to run one of his companies.
“This is the best reality show cast I’ve ever encountered,” said
Donald Trump, executive producer. “They have it all: beauty,
brains and big bucks.”
