UNT: MORE BAD P.R.

|

What’s the deal with UNT? It seems an endless source of bad news. Awhile back there was the woman fudging all her time cards, hiring her son to do work he never did, stealing tens of thousands from the university. Can’t recall her name. Then, of course, there was Paul Schlieve, the meth professor. Just recently, there was the identity theft when hackers plundered the university’s servers. And now comes news that T. Lloyd Chestnut, UNT’s VP for research and technology transfer, was escorted from his office by police. On July 27, he requested and was put on administrative leave. No word yet as to why.
