A few months ago, I interviewed David Estes for a story about his company Tactical Tanks, an outfit designed to teach team building and other business stuff by driving tanks. Over the weekend, Estes died in a plane crash at Lake Texoma. He was the pilot of the experimental single-engine plane. (The company’s web site is still up, but Tactical Tanks is not.) Estes was 52 years old.
