SPECIAL OFFER

|

Okay, kids. Here’s the deal. On August 31, we’re doing a free screening of DIRT at the historic Lakewood Theater (I got the date wrong earlier). DIRT is a wonderful documentary about the Devil’s Bowl Speedway, in Mesquite. It was directed by one-time D staffer Jeff Bowden. I saw its world premiere at the USA Film Festival, where it had two sold-out showings. Really good times, especially since many of the drivers were in attendance. They’ll be at our Lakewood screening, too.

We’ll get rolling at 6 p.m. with free Campisi’s pizza and all the Tito’s vodka you can stomach (responsibly). The film hits the screen at 7:30, in all its digital glory. But seating is limited. So if you’re game, RSVP now. Send along your name and the name of your guest. Two spots per FrontBurnervian.

See you there.
