SEEKING THE ELUSIVE AGRIA

By Tim Rogers |

My Fair Lady is all woman. Gravid and gassy, she nonetheless likes to cook her man a good meal. Toward that end, she turned to a recently acquired cookbook called Chefs of the Market, published by the local chapter of the Dallas/Ft. Worth > Entry” href=”http://aiwf.com/_file_repository/home.asp?chapter=111″>AIWF. She found a recipe from Crescent Club chef Helen Duran that sounded good: lavender orange pork loin with basmati rice. Mmm. But it calls for a half cup of “Agria,” with a cap “A.” In parens, it is described as “bitter orange juice.” Well, My Fair Lady has searched high and low for the stuff. The good people at Central Market had never heard of it.

So WTF? Can a food-loving FBvian help her out?
