GULF COAST RELIEF?

|

It will be interesting to see what sort of response comes from Dallas in the aftermath of Katrina. With almost 100 dead and early estimates of $26 billion in damages, Katrina is one of the worst storms in American history. In the days following the Indian Ocean tsunami, relief efforts sprung up from every church and school. Lemonade stands in the Park Cities and Preston Hollow raised money for tsunami victims. One 5th grade class at McCulloch Middle School alone raised over $6,400. So what will we do for those hapless folks in Louisiana and Mississippi, just ten hours down the road? Anything? Or will we let the insurance companies handle it?
