The announcement has been made. Justin Farmer and Jackie Hyland will be the new daybreak anchors at Channel 8. Hyland is a fill-in anchor and reporter at WPIX in New York City. She is perhaps best-known for having a bucket of water dumped on her. Farmer comes from KDVR in Denver, where he anchored mornings and weekends. He also worked awhile back at TXCN. And he has really nice-looking hair. (If anyone can find an image of Hyland, send me the link.)
One question: Hyland’s husband is an NYC cop. Do we get him in the deal? Because we could use him.
