REPORTING ON THE REVOLUTION, SORT OF

|

Somewhat interesting piece last night on CBS11 about blogs and their role in the information mix, a piece that could have been turned from “somewhat interesting” into “fascinating” if it had dared to mention FB. But I guess the news folks there didn’t want to give away the secret of where they get half their news–the half that doesn’t come off the AP wire. (Ok, just kidding, guys–calm down.) Former D Magazine associate publisher and Pegasus News founder Mike Orren was the on-air spokesman for the revolution, but the web address CBS11 put up was pegasus.com, a sailing site, not pegasusnews.com, where the revolutionaries are gathered and sharpening their swords.
