A loyal FrontBurnervian has this to say about the Olympics:

As London celebrated its Olympic win today, it made me wonder what we would have done had Dallas made it through to the final round. Would we have stood outside, in a great public space analagous to Trafalgar Square? In the swelterng heat? And on a Red Level Air Pollution Day (do we have anything but that in summer?)?

Ah, now I see why we never had a chance.
