I’m so proud of all of you. As promised, here is the photo of Tim. (Click the photo if you want to see a larger version.) The story: we worked at The Met together. Actually, Tim just wrote his Mr. Funny Guy column at that point, which seemed to be turned in later and later with less and less funny in it. But that’s a different story for a different time. All of us on the edit staff (plus Tim) went to Chops’ parents’ lakehouse at Lake Texoma. Chops was the managing editor, you see. Upon arrival, Tim predicted he would be the last man standing, still knockin’ back when we’d be out cold. That, as you can see, was not the case. Good times. Good times.
