I don’t know how anyone could fail to mention the Polish sausages from Tiger Stadium/Comerica Park in Detroit. They serve them hot off the grill smothered in peppers and onions. The guys serving them have worked at the park for the last couple of decades and were as sweet as could be. They helped me get over the constant catcalls from the male fans who would shout,”Hey, I’ve got your Polish sausage right here,” after I would order one.
